After rapidly strengthening, Hurricane Michael made landfall on October 10th, 2018 and devastated the communities in Gulf County, Bay County, Washington County, and Walton County, Florida. On October 12th, 2018, VIP Adjusting arrived to assist with the initial clean up efforts.
After the initial cleanup has progressed, roads have been cleared (or closed if repair is required), travel is safe, and first responders have tended to all storm-related rescues and injuries, we intend to remain in the area for the foreseeable future to assist local homeowners and business owners in their recovery efforts so that they can begin to rebuild. We are also happy to coordinate mitigating repairs including roof tarping, drying services, and mold remediation, if required.
We know these are trying times when your trees, your homes, your jobs, and your lives have been uprooted. The aftermath is chaos and there is no good place to start. It will take years to rebuild and return to normal. This is something you will never forget.
If you find yourself in need of assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. We’ve been through this before and are happy to help with whatever you might need.
If you’re reading this from outside the affected communities and would like to help, we ask that you donate to the American Red Cross.
